Boss OFFICIALLY tells Arsenal ‘we are waiting to sell’ – star ‘wants to go, That’s fine for us’

Thomas Frank has told the likes of Arsenal that if they get the right offer for David Raya – they will sell this summer windo.

ARSENAL have been doing some wonderful business this transfer window and have really added players to the side that should be able to make a real difference to their chances of winning that Premier League title

And it is no secret that the Gunners are interested in bringing in another stopper that will keep number one Aaron Ramsdale on his toes – as he may become too comfortable at being the clubs main man.

And that has led to reports in the media that Raya is a man that the club are very much interested in after a stunning season for Brentford. And recent reports on the Goal website have claimed that he is one player that Mikel Arteta has demanded to be signed.

WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –

The Bees completed a deal to sign Freiburg goalkeeper Mark Flekken for £11m earlier in the window so are covered if a deal to allow Raya to leave is concluded. Brentford have an asking price of £40m for Raya.

“I hope [we get an offer], we are waiting to sell,” said Frank.

“David would like to go. That’s fine for us. If a club want to buy [him] they just need to find out the price. I guess it should be simple, but apparently it’s very difficult!”

SHOULD ARSENAL SIGN RAYA?

Raya is a very impressive stopper that has been very good this season – but is he really better than what ARSENAL have at the club? Is he really worth the £40 million that is being talked about.

Ramsdale is the number one at the Emirates and bringing in another stopper like Raya to unsettle him may not be the best move to make.

And will Raya want to sit on the bench every week? No he will not – which could cause more trouble.
